We’ve all had the day to face putting in a washing machine, our first washing machine. At that moment, we’ve wondered how to put it on. It may be a simple question, but it has given us some headache.
Not knowing the clothes to wear, whether you can mix them or even the program to put on, it is usual to have all these doubts. These simple steps will solve our doubts and allow us to enjoy a perfect laundry.
6 Step How to Use a Front Loading Washing Machine
Step 1: Sort of clothes
As simple as this may seem to us, it is one of the fundamental steps to have a good result. We have to do a thorough classification of clothing by colours and type of fabric.
All those garments with black, brown, grey, green, blue colours… We consider them dark clothing. It is not advisable to mix them with lighter ones, not to mention the target.
By keeping a thorough classification of coloured clothing, we will ensure that we maintain the colours’ intensity and prevent them from distilling other garments.
The only way for our clothes’ white colour to remain as the first day is not to mix white with any other colour, however clear. Other than that, we’ll get the white to turn greyish.
Laying the groundwork for a good laundry, the result will be perfect
Step 2: open – enter – close.
Once we have classified the clothes, the next step is to put them in the washing machine. We open the door of it and introduce all the garments that we want to wash.
We advise that you do not insert the garments inside made a ball, as they will not allow the correct way of washing, or as we have already mentioned above, of very different and intense colours, as they can weed.
We close the door once the garments are inserted into the washing machine.
Step 3: Detergent and softener
We need to take the next step to insert the detergent into the right box for this purpose. It consists of three compartments, two for detergent and one for the softener.
The two on the left will be used for detergent, but we will only use the one that shakes the drawing (II) regularly since the other will only be used in those cases where the garments are filthy and need pre-washing.
As a general rule, the manufacturer advises a specific amount, but it will depend on the load we have for washing. If we perform a normal load, filling the washing machine drum, it is advisable to use the manufacturer’s amount.
The detergents to be used are very diverse, and your choice will vary depending on each one’s tastes. We recommend using liquid detergent as it will prevent possible blockages of the title block. Those detergents that come in capsules will not put them in the trunk of the washing machine but in the drum, between stockings of clothing.
Optionally, we can add softener to our wash, to get a few lights with better odour and as its name indicates, softer.
Step 4: Choose a program
Depending on the fabric that our garments have, we must use a program or another of washing. It is not the same to use a program for exclusively cotton garments for washing synthetic fabrics.
Not all washing machines have the same programs, nor are all programs the same in washing machines. Some of the most common are:
- Delicate: suitable for garments with delicate fabrics or to be washed at low temperatures. The duration of the program usually hovers around 20-40 minutes.
- Anti-wrinkle: Washing speed is lower than any other program, as well as revolutions per minute.
- Cotton: to wash cotton, at different temperatures.
- Synthetic: to wash synthetics, at different temperatures.
- Wool: to wash wool at different temperatures and prevent it from shrinking or dropping plus.
If we want our clothes to come out drier, we’ll have to put a washing program with more revolutions per minute in the spin. Many models of washing machines bring programs exclusively for spinning.
Step 5: Start washing.
Once you have completed all the above steps, we will hit the home button and wash ready. It should be noted that many current washing machines can stop the program to introduce clothes that have been forgotten and continue with the washing once we close the door.
If you don’t know how to put a washing machine, follow these four steps. As you can see, they are straightforward, and the washing results will be as expected.
Step 6: End of washing – laying clothes
Once the program is finished, we will set out to lay the washing machine or start the drying process in the dryer if we have it.
When the washing process is put to an end, the most current washing machines notify us with a sound, and in those older ones, a red light is lit that indicates the end.
If you consider that your washing machine no longer gives you the quality of the washing you require, these are some of the models that we recommend in Hermanos Pérez for its value for money.
